After Musashi recovers Lumina, he finds that most of the people from the Allucaneet, including Fillet, have been kidnapped by the Thirstquencher Empire. Despite being a young boy, Musashi is given the blade Fusion, and charged with the task of obtaining Brave Fencer Musashi's sword - Lumina, the Sword of Luminescence - before the Thirstquencher Army does.Īlthough Musashi has no intention in saving the kingdom, he agrees to do so in order to return to his homeland. Characters were illustrated by Tetsuya Nomura but were designed by Koji Matsuoka (a common misconception is the former being responsible for both).Ī boy known as Musashi, reincarnated from the legendary Brave Fencer Musashi who saved the Allucaneet Kingdom from a monster called the Wizard of Darkness 150 years before, is summoned to the Allucaneet by its Princess - named Fillet - to save it from the invading Thirstquencher Empire. ![]() ![]() Brave Fencer Musashi was scored by Tsuyoshi Sekito, a former Konami employee. The game involves real-time combat in a 3D environment, and features voice overs for most dialogue. Now, I get an error within the command window stating "Cannot open BASE.PBP, which I believe is the renamed file from the playstation store that I need.Brave Fencer Musashi is an action role-playing game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) in 1998 for the Sony PlayStation. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Any further advice?ĮDIT - Ok, I found the necessary cygwin1.dll file and copied it to my POPS directory. When I attempt to run the popstation.exe from the command line (attempting to convert Final Fantasy Tactics) I get this error: "The application has failed to start because cygwin1.dll was not found. I've downloaded 3.0.3 e-c and followed the tutorial I linked to previously. It comes with a cd ripping tool for the games (maybe not the best), and also comes with a command line tool that converts your ps1 games (after ripping) into psp executables. There's a version of that firmware that comes with all you need. Look around at or pspupdates.qj.net, and download 3.0.3. All you need is to find a version of 3.0.3 e-c that comes already with a popstation version (command line, which is all I ever use).
